Seriously though, did you ever actually believe that we, our cities, our civilization, our technology were somehow magically separate from "nature"? Our technology IS our biology and we are of this Earth. Our cities are our anthills, the country is our garden, playground and dump. Indivisible. And yet we are still stardust. Therein lies the beauty of it all. Although yes, I do hate living in cities; I prefer wilderness by a long shot.
